The 2015 U.K. General Election was a watershed moment for the use of digital media and message. As a Politics graduate, Dan Forshaw believed that 2015 was the election where clear digital strategy would have the edge.
Dan advised a number of candidates on their message and worked closely with Cambridge University Labour Club and candidate Daniel Zeichner to craft a message that spoke to the crucial student electorate in Cambridge. Daniel, who was elected as the Labour MP for Cambridge by just 500 votes has credited the impact the student vote had on the 2015 election in Cambridge.
Dan Greef, who having only being selected eight weeks before the election, doubled the votes for Labour from the 2010 election and secured Labour’s best ever result in the safe Conservative seat of South Cambridgeshire. Dan Forshaw of Purple Table served as Dan’s strategist and Communications Director for the last month of the campaign, helping to craft a message that highlighted the key Labour values of strong community, social justice and reward for hard work.
